Batesville Products, Inc. Begins Second Chance Program with Help from Purdue MEP

LAWRENCEBURG,  –

Batesville Products, Inc. recently introduced a Second Chance Program into the community. They are working closely with Beacon of Hope, Dearborn County Court Services, Workforce Connection, and Purdue University MEP to develop a second chance program that will help individuals get a fresh start in the workforce. BPI and other companies are welcoming these individuals to work at their facilities.

This Second Chance program will help both the company and the surrounding community build a relationship. Batesville Products, Inc. hopes to connect Dearborn County Court Services and Purdue University’s Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP), in addition to Beacon of Hope and Workforce Connection, in a partnership in order to bring the MEP program to Dearborn County. BPI trusts in the concept of giving people a second chance and hopes this program will continue to grow and inspire other companies to do the same.

BPI will be hosting an event to introduce their family-oriented culture, people, and processes to the Dearborn County Superior Court Judges, Nehemiah MFG/Beacon of Hope organization, the Associate Director of the Purdue MEP program, and Workforce Connections on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.
